Today went really well! Charlotte and I spent most of the day cleaning the first floor of the house.
Even though today could have been a hard day for a three year old, Charlotte did great! She was so diligent in her chores (some I assigned, many she assigned herself). She cheerfully and proudly did her work.
I was also quite productive. The kitchen and powder room are cleaned and sanitized. I also went and sanitized every knob and light switch type thing in the house.
In the afternoon my Dad came by to help. To our delight, the wallpaper came down from the Master Bedroom without any major surprises or trouble.

Life in Indiana is pretty good. I am finding the rhythm of my life quite different than it used to be: where I used to have a lot of external influences on how I spent my time, I am now largely in charge of what I do when. This is good and bad... Some of my struggle is "paying myself first," actually giving attention to my own projects and work when there is a lot of family stuff to take care of.
Anyway, here are a bunch of random pictures from the last few months. I promise I'm not hiding from the camera, I just don't have many pictures of me on my own phone. :)
Charlotte riding the horse at the local Children's Museum. We go to the museum about once a week. Though it's not as big as our last museum, it's only 10 minutes from home, making it really convenient!
Charlotte at Micah's work. She needed a stepstool to reach the sink, so M volunteered. Charlotte still giggles about this, a couple of months later.
Now that I'm at home with her, Charlotte and I do a lot of stuff together. Here we are at a local auction. Charlotte enjoyed her ice cream.
We took my Grandpa to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate his 86th Birthday. It was a good time. Also, my Grandpa is pretty dang spry!
On my Grandpa's birthday trip we went to the mall and walked around. Can you see the glee on that kid's face? Those machines are too awesome.
Charlie and her Daddy like to play iPad games together.
We took Charlie to the Doctor for a persistent cough. She is SOOO interested in medicine and health-related issues... she was very careful and interested in the whole process!
Now that Micah grades a lot he likes having good pens. He and Charlotte tried out a bunch of pens at the store.
We enjoyed Thanksgiving Day at Geema's this year. Here's Charlotte, sitting on the table waiting for the meal. Notice her Rose shirt?

Charlotte decided the little pumpkin should be in the back. It's a shy pumpkin.
