Micah and Christine

This is my kid ~ 1 month ago. There is this little bench outside of her school that she LOVES to sit on. Wish I could rock a denim jacket as well as her. :)

Also ~ 1 month ago, we went to Life and Science for their Heroes, Villains, and Special Effects Event. We did not dress Charlotte as any particular one of those characters, just dressed her in some adorable Bella hand-me-downs. (As an aside, the fact that we have great clothes from Charlotte's cousin makes my life about 1000x easier.) Over my Fall Break we took a day and a half off and went to the NC Zoo. It was such a fun time. I love hanging out with these guys. If you want pictures of the animals you'll have to ask Micah; I like to just take pictures of our faces so that you have no clue where we are.

We went to the North Carolina State Fair a couple of weeks ago. SO many animals to see! Charlotte was particularly delighted by the pigs. Here we have Micah and Char checking out the cows.

When I was running errands Micah took a picture of Charlotte with my phone. Not sure what she's thinking, but I think this picture is pretty great.

Just over a week ago I was in Reno for a professional conference, my first. It was a great experience and affirmed my current career path. I also got to hang out with some really fun colleagues!

To say that life has been busy lately would be an understatement... but things are good here!
