Today my daughter turns two years old. In the last few weeks Charlotte has been growing up so much- it's hard for me to believe that this little person made her debut only two years ago!

Doing the Jumble this morning

Two years ago today I was in the hospital a few miles from our home, meeting our Charlie for the first time. I just wanted to cuddle with her forever.Two years and one day ago we didn't even know she was a she!

One year ago today, we had a tiny little birthday celebration for her in a cramped San Francisco apartment.

These days Charlotte runs and plays, 'counts', and ADORES animals and their sounds. She squeals (loudly!) with delight when she meets a new animal. She pauses and squints at the sky every single time she hears an airplane.

She fills our hearts with happiness!

Happy birthday, Charlotte! It is so hard to believe that our daughters have only been around for a couple years...they're such huge parts of our lives. I love the photo of her with the watermelon, so adorable!
