We took Friday night and Saturday "off" from work. On Friday night we went on a family date to the most magical store on the planet- Southern Season. I am planning to cook some Indian food this week so I needed some more spices. Southern Season is typically pretty pricey, but they have a wide variety of spices for reasonable prices. (Much less than at the grocery stores.)
Charlotte on the way to Southern Season.
Yesterday we spent time hanging out, resting, and cleaning house. I took a quick inventory of what we have left to do on the house. It is likely that we will be selling in about a year and a half, so I want to have a running list of things I need on hand. I had a general idea of what we needed before, but I didn't always have measurements on me.
I'm hoping that by being organized about what we need to buy in the coming year, we can pick up a lot of it on clearance or secondhand. The largest time and money investment we have left is a complete redo of our master bath, so I'm hoping to find some really nice materials on the cheap!
After taking all of that time "off," today is a catch-up day. I've done dishes and I'm trying to make some food for the coming week. I also have some homework and some work-work. Micah is meeting with another student to try to debug some code. Wish us luck!
