I am borrowing a Canon 5D from Leah for a couple weeks. I've only been shooting with it for a couple days, but I'm absolutely certain it makes every picture more beautiful.
Going from an old Rebel with a 1.6x crop to full frame makes all my lenses feel so wide. This is nice and composition feels less cramped. Also, the sensor is more sensitive, making dim settings less of a problem.
I'm still getting used to the new feel and it has been a lot of fun to meet a new camera. Thanks to the shallow depth of field and brighter sensor, taking pictures of food is easier and gives better results. Oddly, auto white balance on the Rebel easily out performs the 5D in artificial indoor light. The 5D gives me terrible yellow tint in most places in our house.
The full frame sensor in the 5D makes portraits look great, so here is Charlotte!
