Micah and I like to have mini date nights some evenings after Charlotte has gone to bed. It's a nice chance to reconnect and talk about what is going on. For tonight's date night, we had some snacks.
I read about this pumpkin spice smoothie and knew I had to try it. One thing that always appeals to me on cooking shows is how beautiful their ingredients look- so perfectly displayed in individual glass containers. I decided I wanted at least one picture like that, and decided that a 5-ingredient recipe would be the perfect starter project.
I like the picture, but I used SO many dishes and utensils to get it! I don't think I'll be doing this kind of shot very often.
And our final date night snack palette: Salami, Brie, and "Seed Overload" Lavasch with the pumpkin spice smoothie. Really yummy combination of flavors.
