Micah and Christine

plus three

This year we enjoyed a really nice Thanksgiving with friends. A few of Micah's classmates at school came over, bringing great food.

The goodness began with homemade mango lassi:

(Yes, he is pouring it out of a bottle from the Carolina Brewery.)

My handsome husband carved the turkey:

Here is our full spread of food. It included turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, homemade bread, cranberry relish, hot and sour shrimp, bran dough, dim sum, biryani, pumpkin pie, and chinese sticky rice dessert. It was so diverse and incredibly delicious!

We had a great evening of playing games and snacking.

This game of Jenga was particularly intense. The picture is not great, but do you see how high that tower is? It's 37 rows tall. Do you know how hard that is? I thought they were all going to faint.

It was a fun day, but now we're amazingly tired and just want to sleep. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
