This weekend I was lucky enough to be able to fly to Indiana and see a good friend from high school get married. The trip was very fast- we returned to NC almost exactly 48 hours after we left. Charlotte came along because she has not yet hit the 2-year milestone and can ride in my lap on the airplane for free. I was grateful for the opportunity to see Katy wed.
All these pictures were taken with my phone and some of them are pretty grainy or fuzzy. But I still love them.

Random:
Charlotte made the big kids (my brother, Brian, and his fiance, Katie) lay on the ground. She then laid on the ground next to them and read a book. You may also notice the construction hat Katie is wearing... that is all Charlotte.
Plane ride home:
Though we didn't pay for Charlotte to have her own seat, this flight
was not full and Charlotte got one anyway. TOTALLY AWESOME.

I have so much to be thankful for.
- Yesterday was my "day off" with my girl, which I always relish.
- I had a nice chat with my Momma yesterday morning.
- My husband and I had a wonderful time last weekend exploring our neighborhood and showing Charlotte the cows.
- I get to see a good friend from high school get married this weekend!
- I get to see another friend's baby belly this weekend!
- I am nearly through this hard hard week.
- Last week, for the six year anniversary of our first date, my husband bought me BUNCHES of flowers. It made my day to wake up to all those flowers!
- Yesterday morning, after finishing her bowl of cereal, my daughter requested, "More, please."
- I made a cake last weekend. And I even changed the recipe to make it my own. I'm proud of myself. (Cherry Chocolate Torte)

Little lady is 21 months old today. Each day she learns a new skill or word. I'm so proud of her and just want to hug these guys so close.
