I realize I haven't been posting as many Charlotte pictures lately, so I thought for the sake of interested family I would post a few.
Now, a word about Charlotte pictures. Little Lady is not of an age where she is interested in posed shots. In fact, the mere idea that she would stand someplace and sweetly smile for Momma to take a picture is kind of laughable. She is a completely sweet and loving girl, but she is also equal parts determined, busy, stubborn, fascinated by her surroundings, etc. So, "action shots" are what can be expected right now. The pictures I'm sharing today are just a little snapshot into our Thursday.

Last week my computer charger stopped working. Since it would be nearly impossible for me to live without my compy, we were off to the Mac store.
Taking the trek to the mall meant a stop at one of our most frequent haunts... Tomato Jake's. It's a by-the-slice local pizza joint. We like it because it's fast (excellent when you have a busy toddler!), near Target and the mall, and pretty inexpensive.
We then headed over to the mall to get my computer fixed. While I spoke with the folks at the Genius Bar (uggghhh... seriously? What a name.) Micah and Charlotte played an interactive animal computer game.
My computer appears to have the same problem that it had in San Francisco... Fortunately they just gave me a new charger and I was on my way. My computer lives to let me finish the semester!

Last week I made my own simple quinoa side with leftover quinoa, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and lemon juice. It was well-received by all three members of the family, so I'm excited about trying this more fancy dinner recipe. Really excited.
Breakfast
- Oatmeal
Lunch
- Leftovers
- Frozen black bean burgers
Dinner
- Toasted quinoa, snow peas, tomatoes, and mozzarella salad
- Tacos (Hubby and I used to say we'd have taco night once a week... this has turned into some-sort-of-Mexican night most weeks, so I thought I'd take us back to our roots.)
- Eggplant and tomato pizza
Snacks/Dessert
- Greek yogurt with honey and nuts
- No-Knead Multigrain Bread
- Apples
- Homemade chocolate syrup on vanilla ice cream (I have the chocolate syrup recipe saved from when it was on Cate's old website... can't find it on her new one.)
