I love making lists of happy things. It is such a great way to just remind myself of all that I have and how good life is. This is particularly important during weeks like this week. It's the end-of-the-semester-busy-ness, and that can definitely take its toll on our little academic household. So, without further ado, a list of happy things!
- The semester is almost over. In a month I think I'm going to throw myself a party. Hoorah!
- In the past week, there have been several times when we have been able to lay Charlotte down, walk away, and she has gone to sleep by herself. This is HUGE.
- I have a new rug. It feel SOOOOO cushy and it really makes the living room look more polished.
- I am done with big presentations for the semester.
- Micah and I have been making time to watch 30 Rock together. By ourselves.
- Last Saturday we indulged in a Saturday morning tradition: doughnuts and yard sales.

I think that HUGE may be an understatement for being able to walk away and have a kid fall asleep by themselves. Wow, I can't think of a better word, but HUGE^HUGE might be close. :)
Kudos to watching 30 Rock. I'd recommend Community if you run out of 30 Rock episodes. :)
Best of luck on the last of your semester. I'm sure it's stressful, but thank goodness it's almost over!
Jeremy, I will take an exponential huge. :) It's not every night, but the fact that sleep is coming more readily and more often is very exciting over here.
I really like Community, too. Actually, I kind of feel like I'm the only person who still watches NBC's Thursday night television. Micah only likes 30 Rock, though.
