About a week and a half ago I made brownies. I chose to follow this recipe that has both brownies and frosting. As soon as I put them into the oven, I realized that I had made a mistake. When I was making up the brownie batter I had accidentally reached into my shelf and pulled out the powdered sugar instead of the flour. The result was a funky, almost fudgy but sort of crunchy, texture. We still ate them all. The End.
To keep me from making the same mistake twice, this week I'm making brownies that don't call for flour at all.
Meals this week:
Breakfasts:
- Cream of Wheat
- Oatmeal with yogurt
- Cheerios
- Eggs
Lunches:
- Leftovers
- PB&J
- Grilled Cheese with tomato soup
Dinners:
- Black bean soup with beer bread (I love getting ideas from others' meal plans!)
- Mexican "Flatbread" pizza
- Butternut Squash, Sweet Potato, Leek, and Coconut Milk soup (Subbing squash for the pumpkin)
Snacks:

- Craisins
- String cheese
- Jello
